How long should I plan on?
Events last about 1 to 2 hours. It can vary depending on the age, number of guests, which package, and whether you're bringing snacks. Our staff will help you determine the most appropriate time frame for your group when you call to schedule.
What does the price include?
Your time in the studio, pottery pieces (or other materials), glazing and firing are all included in our package prices. Sales tax is not.
How many adult "helpers" can attend?
Please limit 2 adult helpers for most parties.
Can I schedule a party outside of your regular studio hours?
Of course! We just ask for a minimum of $200.
How does the deposit work?
A $25 deposit will hold your reservation, and will be applied to your bill at the event. Deposits are not refundable if you cancel or do not show up.
What about picking up their projects?
A troop leader is responsible for picking up the finished projects. Let the other parents know how you plan to deliver them. Items will be fired and ready to pick up in one week; allow two weeks for clay and wheel projects.
What if I only have 4 kids?
Our package rates don't apply, but don't let that stop you! Just pay the regular studio fee of $7/person plus the pottery pieces or glass fusing projects you select.
What if I have a really large group?
Add $2/scout to our Scout Package rates. Our main studio comfortably holds up to 30 kids for pottery painting or glass fusing. Unfortunately we cannot hold more that 12 kids in the clay and wheel studio.
What if we want to paint pottery pieces that are not in one of the party packages?
Whether you give the kids a price range to choose from, or have them all paint the same piece, you'll pay for the individual pieces selected plus the studio fee of $7/person (groups up to 7 guests) or $5/person (groups of 8 or more).
