Please understand that we need accurate information about your event to adequately staff the studio and schedule other parties before/after yours. If any information changes at any time, contact us right away so we can better serve both you and our other studio guests. By hosting a group event at The Mud Room, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
•No more per person studio fees! Reserve our semi-private PARTY ROOM or one or more tables in our Studio.
•Reserve a STUDIO TABLE for up to two hours for $25/table. Each of our four large tables seats 6-8 guests.
•Reserve our semi-private PARTY ROOM for $50 for up to two hours for 8-16 guests.
•POTTERY & GLASS PROJECTS are priced individually.
•EXTRA STUDIO TIME: If you need more than 2 hours for your event a $50 Studio Time Rental fee will reserve your party table for an additional hour. Please check with our staff for availability, and pay for the extra time when you secure your reservation. We also reserve the right to charge an additional $25 Studio Rental fee for each half hour any event goes beyond the reserved time, as other parties may have the space reserved after your event. This applies during Open Studio and after-hour parties.
•SALES TAX is not included.
FOOD & DRINKS
•Non-alcoholic drinks are allowed, but must be contained to the table your guests are painting at. Please respect that our studio is still open to the public during your event, unless you reserve a time outside of our Open Studio hours.
•Please reserve the Party Room if you would like to serve snacks at your event.
USE OF STUDIO SPACE
•If your event is scheduled during Open Studio Hours, we will be open to the public for other guests while your event is going on.
•Expect to spend about 1 to 2 hours painting pottery or making fused glass, depending on the size of your group, the project you are making, and the age range of your guests. Our experienced staff will determine the appropriate amount of time for your group when you request a reservation. Requests for parties over 2 hours must be approved by a manager and will be subject to a $50 Studio Time Rental (see above).
•Parties may be held outside of our Open Studio hours if you are expecting 10+ guests.
•Your group’s purchases of pottery, glass, or other projects must total at least $250. This minimum must be reached before any sales tax or additional reservation fees are applied.
NUMBER OF GUESTS
•Our studio has large family-style tables. Groups of 6-8 will receive a private table to themselves. Smaller groups may need to share with other guests in the studio and therefore will not be required to rent a table. Larger groups will be divided between 2 or more tables.
•Our Party Room holds up to 16 people. If you have a group of more than 16, please contact our staff to discuss different options.
•Due to space restrictions, we reserve the right to charge $10/person for additional guests who are attending but not creating a project. If the studio is at capacity, we may also be required to ask non-participating guests to leave the studio in order to ensure the safety of our guests and allow our staff to do their jobs effectively.
•Confirm the final number of guests in your group at least one week in advance so we can arrange adequate seating for your party.
•A reservation fee is required to guarantee your table(s) are saved just for you and your friends! It will not be deducted from your purchases and is non-refundable if you cancel or do not show up. For your convenience, reservation fees can be paid online, in person or over the phone.
•If you would like to guarantee additional studio time or space, per our guidelines above, please pay the $50 Studio Time Rental with the rest of your reservation. Please confirm with our staff that these additional options are available before making your payment.
•Guests may pick up their own items, or you may designate one person to pick them all up. Just let us know what is most convenient for you before your guests begin to check out at your party.
•Pottery and Glass projects will be ready to pick up in approximately one week.
•Please pick up projects within 30 days of your pickup due date. Your pickup date will be given to you at checkout and printed on your receipt when you pay for your projects.
•Occasionally our staff may take photos of guests and/or their creations. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you also give The Mud Room permission to photograph any attendees at your party or their artwork, and the right to use, publish, reproduce and disseminate any photograph or other likeness of any guests or artwork obtained in connection with your visit to the studio without pay or compensation to you or any guests attending.
